  • Search provider studio: 14 one-click presets including Startpage, Kagi, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Claude, Stack Overflow, GitLab, npm, PyPI, Reddit, Hacker News, arXiv, Google Maps, and Unsplash.
  • Prefix and suffix !bangs: !g query and query !g both work, with aliases such as !gh/!github and !w/!wiki.
  • Validated custom engines: add or edit HTTPS templates with {q}, aliases, and rejection of embedded credentials or non-HTTPS URLs.
  • Local instant answers: date differences and offsets, Unix timestamps, base conversion, tips, percentage change, RGB/HSL colors, and word counts.
  • Terser production build: measured 166.2 KB gzipped (141.0 KB JS + 25.2 KB CSS), still inside the enforced 170 KB budget.
  • Focus Sound naming: user-facing audio copy no longer uses frequency-based wellness claims.

v0.1.2 — GitHub Update Flow & Canonical Downloads

Added a six-hour GitHub release check with a quiet "Update your Cove" badge, direct latest-release ZIP downloads, and a guided download-and-reload flow for unpacked extensions.
